Introducing fScript

fScript is a runtime environment which enables you to develop portable 3D graphics applications such as games and demos from JavaScript. Implemented on top of the the Frontend API (www.frontendapi.com), fScript gives you high performance rendering of 2D and 3D graphics, in addition to simple-to-use sound, network and input functionality.

fScript is ideal for rapid development of small games, demos, applications and prototypes. It can also provide a fun and encouraging way to learn programming for beginners.

fScript will be available for both Windows and Linux as an executable virtual machine.

The first version is currently under development. Expected release date is March 2009.

In the mean time, please check out www.frontendapi.com .
